I am a writer who has a background in elementary education. I worked for five years in a small, impoverished community and have done a lot of work with family literacy programs and special needs children. My passion for the written word has led me to crave a career shift; I would love to write for a living, or get started as an editor. I have had many life experiences, from working with baby snow leopards and birds of prey, to having a family, to having survived poverty, and so have that much more to draw on when I write.
